How do I start using Tennisphere?

Download Tennisphere from the app store or google play, complete the easy step-by-step account set-up process then start inviting your friends to play!


Why isn’t this working?

Occasionally things get wonky - if things don’t seem to be working the way they should, first try updating the app, if that doesn’t work, delete and reinstall for a “hard restart"


Can I invite friends to an event if they don’t have an account?

Tap on “Invite your friends to join Tennisphere” on the Home Page and send a link to join via text, email or QR code. When you invite friends to join the app you will both be instantly added to each other’s friends list.


What is the difference between “Adding” and “Inviting” players to an event?

You can create an event with up to 20 spots for invited players to accept. There is no limit on how many players you can invite. Once the 20 spots have been accepted, invitees will no longer be able to accept.


How can I contact everyone going to an event?

Tap the event name and you will enter a group chat that with all confirmed players for that event. Tap a player’s personal icon for one-to-one messaging.


How do I create an event?

Tap on the Events tab and then tap on the calendar+ icon on the top right. Choose what type of event you would like to create; Hit, Match or Both and Singles or Doubles, or Mixed Doubles. Name your event and invite or add your friends to play.


How can I add a player to my friends list?

Go to the Players tab and tap on the Nearby list. Scroll down the alphabetical by last name list to find your friend and tap into their profile. Tap on “Add Friend” and they will be added to your friends list.


How many people can I invite to an event?

Can I make someone else an admin for my event?

Go to your event and tap the event name. Then tap “Tap here for Event Settings” in the group chat header.



How do I edit my profile?

Tap on the Account tab, then tap on the “Tap to edit profile” button to update your photos and personal information in your profile.


How do I set my location?

In the Account tab, then tap on the “Tap to edit Profile” button, tap on “Location” and either choose your location on the map or enter your zip code.


Where did the event invite go?

Once you have declined an invitation it will be removed from your events tab. If you change your mind, message the event organizer and ask them to “add” you to the event. Once added the event will be listed in your Invites and Upcoming Events lists.


How do I make a recurring event?

Recurring event functionality is in the works. In the meantime you can clone your event for future dates. Go to your event, tap on the event name, tap on the header to go to event settings, scroll to the bottom and select “clone event.” Please note you cannot clone another user’s event.
